Shortly after becoming an easyPlan member, easyTechCare will schedule a technician visit in your home to perform your choice of an In-Home Inspection, an In-Home System Optimization or an In-Home Pre-Membership Repair, of your computer (minimum charge $49.95). They will identify opportunities to improve the performance and stability of your computer, and once your computer is running the way you want, we will be pleased to welcome you as a Member.
Membership Essentials:
Operating System: Windows XP Home or newer PC System: Intel Pentium/Celeron processor, AMD K6/Athlon/Duron processor, or compatible is recommended. Pentium IV (or equivalent) or better required.
Membership secures access to up to 8 hours of on-line or telephone technical support covering hardware, operating systems, and common software application troubles experienced by home computer users. Internet access is required.
If you have any problems with your computer software or the stability of your computer, we will come to your house and fix it, no matter what. Coverage is limited to three (3) home visits, to a maximum of $600 per year. easyPlan3 members must be running approved AntiVirus and AntiSpyware software scheduled to run at least weekly.
easyTechCare will arrange for broken PC hardware to be repaired or replaced at no charge for either parts or labour. Coverage is limited to $500 per year, per computer, and there is a 30 day waiting period after sign up. The plan covers PC computers (not Apple computers), monitors, keyboards, and mice. Notebooks are subject to a price premium.
Add to all this support for your Blackberry™ or similar Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). Get help integrating your PDA with your desktop, synch your emails, contact list and calendar. Or, as with the balance of your coverage, simply call with questions or issues and we will be here to help.
In addition, members enjoy discounted pricing on numerous additional computer support services such as hardware repair, home network installations, and hardware or software upgrades. Contact us and we'll schedule an appointment.
easyTechCare members are sent email newsletters with critical information, periodic specials on home computer-related products and services, and contact information.
