Where is EasyTechCare available?
EasyTechCare is currently available in the Greater Toronto Area, and will soon be available in other parts of Canada.
Are there any limitations to what will be repaired?
All failed components within your computer as well as the keyboard, monitor, and mouse will be repaired or replaced. Peripherals such printers, scanners, etc are not covered. For hardware repair, there is an annual $500 limit per computer covered under EasyPlanTwo or EasyPlanThree. For software repair under EasyPlanThree, there is an annual limit of $300 or 2 home visits to resolve problems. It may not always be possible to save your data, and therefore we highly recommend that you backup your data and store it and your applications in a safe place. We would be happy to discuss these and other safety issues with you. Damage or repairs as a result of virus or spyware are not covered.
How long will I wait for a response to my questions?
Our goal is to deliver the support that you've imagined in the first place. We understand that your time is valuable so our wait times are targeted to be under 5 minutes. And generally, our average actual wait time is even lower than that.
Can I buy a membership for my friend or family member?
Yes, our membership programs make excellent gifts for friends and loved ones.
Do you support software problems?
Yes, unlike most technical support services, we support not only your hardware, but also the Microsoft operating system and the Office suite of products, in order to keep you productive.
Are the memberships transferable?
You may transfer your membership coverage from one PC to another if you've purchased a PC.
