EasyTechCare is committed to upholding all governmental obligations, laws and regulatory requirements. EasyTechCare is committed to following the new privacy regulations as required by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and we have taken steps to ensure that all member information is acquired and retained only for opening, setting up and maintaining accounts for EasyTechCare services. Included among these services are on-line and telephone technical support, as well as PC computer repair/replacement coverage. In addition, with your consent, we would use your information only for maintaining your account; processing your annual or monthly payments via credit card; protecting you from identity theft, fraud, misuse and/or authorized access to your account or personal information; share application and transaction information only with employees, and contractors.
We wish to assure you that member information that is provided to EasyTechCare is not shared with anyone other than those who are employed or contracted with EasyTechCare to set up, provision, implement and maintain EasyTechCare services and accounts as stated above. We do not share this information with any other third party for any other purpose. Information obtained is only accessed by those who need to know for the purposes set out herein and is stored in a secure location, both paper and electronically.
After becoming a member, a member that wishes to terminate their services and remove their personal information from our records, can do so, by following any current contractual commitments associated with EasyTechCare Membership Services, and by simply informing us. Member information will only be retained as long is necessary for the effective termination of their services, or as required by any local, provincial or federal authority or regulating body. Thereafter, member information will be removed from our records.
